开放式的作文教学和命题式的作文教学是相对的一个概念,开放,那就是让学生在最大的空间里做自己愿意做的事,在学生天赋所及范围内极大地发挥他们的主观能动性。开放式的作文教学,就是在最大程度上实施“主体参与”,充分张扬学生的写作个性,完善健全的人格,开放式的作文教学应该冲破传统的观念,充分挖掘学生作文的潜能,真正做到作文是用“我手写我口”。
为什么要进行开放式的作文教学?
一是目前作文现状的需要。我多年从事中高年段的语文教学,长期的教学实践,让我看到语文教学现状,特别是作文教学,急需要改革。作文是一种最具个性化的学习行为,作文教学也要实现个性化教学,让学生去探究生活,抒发独特的感受。而目前的现状是教师忽视了学生的主体作用,忽视了学生是活生生的独立个体,不顾学生的个人感受,统一命题,统一方法,结果要么让学生无话可说,要么千篇一律。作文课成了师生都头疼的课。也常常有中高年级孩子的家长看到我就谈孩子的作文,总觉得作文是语文中的一大难点,孩子的作文也成了家长的最关心的话题。
二是学生作文心理的需要。曾经对所任教的中高年级的学生作过作文心理调查,班级学生数在50到60之间,喜欢作文的不到20‰,大部分学生对作文怀着惧怕心理,抱着应付态度,这怎能写好作文?
现在的孩子头脑灵活,思维敏捷,知识面广,富有创造性和独立性,自我意识强烈,表达的欲望也很强烈,为什么怕写作文,写不好作文呢?他们只是不希望受到过多的束缚,不喜欢老师给的统一的命题,希望老师能给予他们自主的权利,给他们自由表达的机会。就作文教学而言,如果学生长期处于被动机械的接受状态,他们就会产生厌恶的心理,作为作文教学的主体,学生应该是主动的参与者,而不是被动的接受者。作文教学不是教师把自己的经验和体会传达给学生,也不是教师把自己的思想观点强加给学生,即使是教师教授的所谓写作方法也必须有学生自己在写作过程、写作实践中去感悟和体
